What a horrid company UHC is! Their agents blatantly lie to cheat one out of money. My situation began when I wanted to go to a physical therapist regarding a lower back injury I had encountered on my own. I have several complaints but the most recent was the stick that broke the camels back, I am switching to another provider. I called to see if I could get my refill of Cymbalta early because I would be out of state for the holidays. I live in Las Vegas Nv. 15 years hard labor ,cnty road dept. Had many injuries handled by my ins. UHC took over my ins., most every Dr. ,and workers comp. Every dr. I see tell me my injuries are job related. None will say it in court. Imagine that. No health care in Vegas baby. Add comment

My experience with United Healthcare has been the ultimate disappointment. I went to a Dr thinking I had TMJ after years of pain in my jaw and they confirmed i had some really serious jaw issues. I had just got off the phone with UCHC. My issue was my refill for promethezine. First, I was told to call back in two to three hours. I refused to do that. Second, I was eventually transferred to someone who knew what they were talking about. Finally, I wad told that I have to wait until at least Saturday before I can try to refill it again. I have received a myriad of information and misinformation from member services every time I call UHC. The representatives there are not well trained. I and my Dr's office have been trying to figure out why the Dr. is no longer a participating physician.
