I have a VERY minor dispute with UHC for migraine medications which they refuse to pay for--saying it is elective and that I can only have 4 pills a month of Imitrex. Puts it in perspective. Let us all know how things turn out for you. I will reach medicare in a few years and my problem will go away, you're still fighting. My prayers are with you. |

| 3. Written by TMM1983 on September 21, 2010 from hackensack, minnesota, US I file insurance claims for numerous providers. Please know that UHC has not made any "mistakes" here. They have intentionally committed fraud as thay do everyday. Harass your state's governor's office and insurance commisioner's office into taking care of this for you. |

| 6. Written by PM on September 13, 2008 from reston, virginia, US I am currently in Maryland dealing with an $11,000 bill that I am unable to pay. Please post here anything you are able to find out. UHC claims that I have 90 days to submit a claim I was never billed for and has changed their mind 3 seperate times as to my timely submission deadline, 12 months changed to 90 days as soon as I resubmitted the claim, and now they say I only had 6 months. |
| 7. Written by Shannon on June 30, 2008 from los angeles, california, US Since your situation is really urgent, Contact 310 392 0522 or 310 874 9989. They will be able to help you find out who the regulator for healthcare is in your state, and hopefully find a way to help you get the treatment your child needs. Contact your Congressman and Senator, and the Attorney General in your state for assistance. Contact good morning America, Mr Cuemo, he is doing a good job exposing this kind of abuse. Our prayers are with you, we wish we could help you. Please let us know what happens. |
