We are seriously re-evaluating our relationship with AARP & AARP/United Healthcare due to their decision to drop "SilverSneakers" as a Wellness Program (paid in full) starting Jan. 2019.

As a senior enrolled in "SilverSneakers" we had access to gyms across the US. NOW they say we could pay 50% off of a regular membership at a single (w/limited access). That's actually a 100% increase!

Thought you all wanted to help seniors - physically & mentally?

2018 and our premiums go up and our fixed income goes down?

I am very interested in knowing why some states are getting bumped out while other states will continue to offer (paid in full) "SilverSneakers" memberships via AARP/United Healthcare?

One cannot even buy a "SilverSneakers" membership (out of pocket) it MUST be offered via a healthcare plan. CRAZY!!

So disappointed in AARP & United Healthcare.

Reason of review: SilverSneakers.

Preferred solution: Reinstate SilverSneakers for 2019 (by end of Oct 2018).

I didn't like: Dropped silversneakers in 2019.
