After submitting my paperwork on 1/14 I called on 2/14 to follow up on when I'd receive the check. I was told it was received on 2/4 and takes a month to process. I called back on 3/16 to follow up as the check should have been released on 3/4 as was told it was not processed but given the delay it would be expedited, the rep Tara also verified that that all my paperwork was in order and the payment was approved. on 4/2 I called back again and was again told my claim was not processed. By now I was angry and put pressure on the rep Stephanie, to get the payment expedited. She told me that their job is to be on the phone all day and there are therefore not allowed to take time off the phone to process the claim without permission but she would try.

So now, 3 1/2 months after I first submitted the claim UMR will "try" to process it for me provided her Mgmt will approve her taking time off the phone to enter my claim. Otherwise.....who knows

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

United Healthcare Cons: Excuses, Useless customer service.
