They sent me approval letters with specific codes and authorization numbers. 6 months later my dentist and endodontist are calling me needing to get paid. They had submitted the claim three times and UHC gives nonsense excuses, like 'need itemized bill' , which was with the very first claim !! How do I go to...

I HAVE WORKED IN A DR'S OFFICE FOR OVER 25 YEARS.IN ALL OF THESE YEARS, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A MORE DISHONEST COMPANY. THEIR FAVORITE "TRICK" IS TO "LOSE OR HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CLAIM" & THEIR PHONE REPS STATE TO REFILE. THEN THEY NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE GETTING A CLAIM UNTIL IT'S PAST THE TIMELY FILING LIMIT FOR CLAIM PAYMENT. WE COULD NEVER TAKE OUR PROBLEMS TO A LOCAL UHC REP BECAUSE THEY COULD NEVER KEEP ANYONE DOING THE JOB.THEY ALL QUIT...

We got per-approval no another company that United Healthcare, eviCore that is contracted with I guess to review the medical necessity for MRI, X-Ray, and other medical image. The company tells United Heathcare/GEHA that the MRI or whatever was not necessary for me. Now the providers wants nearly $3,000.00, which my annual family deductible for GEHA/United Healthcare $2,000.00 after $700.00 co-pays. Wife the year had image done before her knee...

United Health Care first approved referral for diabetic dietary assessment, training, and assistance. The day of the, appointment they changed thier minds and recinded their approved referral. This after assurances that the appointment was covered. Apperantly after the recommendation of both my cardiologist and primary care physician, United Health Care's folks determined that this was a frivolous expenditure. They will however cover Viagra for...

Shocked, i call the imaging company, they say that the claim was mishandled and so they re-filed. United HealthCare gives me a long drawn out mistake that occurred between the (2) companies. So between the (2) companies going back and forth, they decided to send me the bill 14 months later!!!! I do not quite understand how this falls upon the customer 14 months later, due to their mistakes. I spoke with the State of Texas, they claim that a medical...

I have made 17 phones calls, talked with 5 different Supervisors (some of those several times) over a 9 month period of time as to why they have not paid a claim for one of my Doctors.I've been lied to by 3 of the Supervisors, Repeatedly told they didn't have the correct information, when they did and on and on. Their idea of customer service is to tell you "they understand why your upset...they would be too if this kind of thing happened to...

the day before neck surgery they have not approved the claim.plans have been made, time off of work scheduled, family and friends all helping and in place. In big time pain, this has been scheduled for weeks now! They wont let you talk to the practitioner that approves the claim. If I have to reschedule, it could lead to even more damage. Can I sue? I have paid for the insurance and gone through all of the necessary hurdles they put you through....
