United Healthcare SUCKS
I am an ex-employee of United Healthcare they want the public to believe they care about the people they insure, but the fact is they DO NOT give a *** about you or their employees. They allow their employees to be fully bullied and humilated by management.
Report management mis-conduct? Laughable, they won't listen to their employees, so do you really think they are going to listen to the people they insure? They only care about making MONEY, MONEY, MONEY!!!
My story is so severe, I may end up taking it to the media and expose the real United for what they are, bullies and discriminatory !!!!!

I disenrolled on April 30 2022 and joined Neighborhood Healthcare Integrity on May 1st 2022. The last thing they had to pay was my ER visit in April to the tune of $4,750 as my ER visit was April 28 2022.
Just made it. I am no longer with UHC. too many problems with them. One was billing me $400 for a dental procedure and they weren't paying because she is "out of network" I checked to make sure she was first but I checked UHC"s own list of in network dentist and she was listed as in-network so I threw the bill in the trash.
Never heard from them after that. They had to pay her!
yea they did not tell my Doctor she had to send them a referral to UHC as well as my specialist so I ended up with a co pay from a MRI for 1038.00 UHC only paid 270.00 dollars they said because my DR did not send them a referral.and my doctor wanted to send me to physical therapy because of nerve damage in my legs I did not go because I don't know if UHC will cover it all my insurance comes through my employer if I could afford my own I would drop UHC in a heart beat.
Normally my doctor's sent referrals, not me.
Almost the worst, but it's a steep competition in the insurance industry! The employees must be screened for stupidity , unwillingness to listen and unwillingness to help!
"DUuuuuh โฆ uh what time is lunch?!?!" UHC human resource interviewer: "do you like to treat people with complete disdain? DO you like to transfer oncology providers over and over without actually helping them?" Potential UHC employee: "YES" UHC HR: "congratulations, you're hired!"
United Healthcare sucks. YOU can't even get onto their web site even after multiple attempts.
they suck period, no providers, providers can't stand them and will not accept their coverage. AARP should be ashamed to be associated with the lousy bunch.
Website never works. Itโs useless. Called customer service and they were useless also
I called Customer Service and asked them to verify my Member ID, my address, my phone number and the county. They said they did not have the county information and would have to transfer me.
Really? What kind of crap is that.?
As a customer, I think this company sucks. I was on the line trying to find out why SS did not take my monthly premium.
It took 40 minutes, then when I wanted to pay, the guy did not know how to do that. I was transfered to no where and then disconnected.

I was not informed of the changes of my benefits and in thing to get things resolved ALL IS GET IS BEING TREATED LIKE A PING PONG BALL, OF LIKE IN A STUPID CRAZY IDIOT. " IT'S ALWAYS BEEN. . .
" HOW LONG IS ALWAYS? DOES ALWAYS HAVE A START AND END DATE? THEY'RE THE WORSE IT HERE.

They have a nasty habit of requiring prior authorizations and referrals for almost everything! And I don't have a book of instructions either so it's up to the business managers to make the medical desisions.
I fired them all and got another zero premium plan. Now when my doctor wants a test or lab work, or procedure, they decide what's best for me, not the Bean counters at UHC.

Contact me I have so much evidence against Uhc I also worked there and they did so many illegal things. Letโs go on case together I have a 1 hour recording my manager violating all my rights.
I have tried to call UHC when I was fully insured yet they made me pay full price for my pain meds - $571. I called them relentlesslly about their screwup and wrote a letter as well - they sent a check for$36 I still have it.
The problem is that some of us are ill enough that we cannot make trying to get through to them a full-time job. Of course, you can NEVER speak to the same rep twice - so you end uprepeating the same story over and over again. I have been waiting 4months just to get an insurance card. It is June - I am already in thedoughnut hole, so they pay literally nothing for my meds - which is anenormous expense each month.
It is very difficult to find a good insurance plan, but I am starting to look again.
The reps are all pretty nice, but they don't get any real help from their supervisors, so they often cannot help us. Post a good, fair insurance company onSine if you can find one.
This is exactly what in thing though with them and in sick to my eyeballs and my one death ear of them. SMH Djana
Did that to me too! Wanted me to pay out of pocket for a covered prescription!
Eat *** I said and they ended up covering it but they try to wear you out so that you pay it then ask their business suits for reimbursement? Could take weeks or months!
This is the biggest scam health insurance. 10K a year and I can't get two dental checkups on my kids without paying a 1.5K deductable first.
Don't use them. They limit everything you take and getting prior authorization is terrible.
Their website sucks nothing about this provide is worth it. Save your money, change your plan.
If you are over 65 and still working, getting UHC coverage through work, they will collect your premiums but will not pay for medical coverage.
